Amazon.co.uk Review
IThe Hunger for More/I, the debut solo album from Lloyd Banks, should be immediately familiar to anyone that’s followed the career of New York mix-tape veterans G-Unit or its most famous son, 50 Cent. Steeped in the same celebratory Big Apple gangster spirit as IGet Rich Or Die Trying/I, and boasting cameos from an all-star cast that includes Eminem, Fiddy, Snoop Dogg, and Tony Yayo – not to mention a handful of Marshall Mathers production credits – it’s clear that this tight coterie are one of the key clans defining the shape of rap in the ‘00s. Banks is easily a wordsmith on a par with 50 Cent, even if he lacks Fiddy’s effortless swagger – indeed, it’s his flexibility and range that allows IThe Hunger For More/Ito hop from the bullish, cocked-pistol likes of "Warrior Part 2" to soulful seduction number "Karma" without disturbing its fluid sense o! f continuity. Perhaps this album’s main fault is that it lacks a crossover party hit of the calibre of "In Da Club"--but with braggadocio-laden stand-outs like "On Fire" and "Ain’t No Click", that isn’t necessarily a problem. I--Louis Pattison/I

A DAMN MASTERPIECE
This album for me, is on par with 50's G.R.O.D.T and massacre. Class act!

this album is amazing, seriously its tracks are amazing, the beats are class and the lyrics are worlds apart from any of the nearest competition. The top track must be playboy however i'm so fly is a close contender and on fire. overall this is the best album i ever heard and anyone who has liked banks work on mixtapes or other g unit members albums should rely get this, its worth it

Banks could be bigger than 50.
This is banks first release and the 3rd G-nit release after 50's and Beg for mercy. Banks showed promise on both records and he delivers. The best tracks are No 3,4,6,7,9,10 and 12. On fire is sweet and so is I'm so fly. Warrior 1 and 2 are both great especially part 2 Em rips this track up. Karma is the standard R'n'B style track and is really good. Work magic with young buck is class. I'm so fly is probably the best track showing how good Banks can be. Overall banks has loads of potential and if he steps out of 50's shadow he could make better records than this. The only bad points about this album is that Banks something rhymes words only by changing the pronunciation of the word and one or two line are really bad but having said that this is his debut and I think it will pick up from here. br / br /

2 STARS FOR SOME GOOD PUNCLINES-BUY HIS MIXTAPES INSTEAD
lloyd banks had been tearing up the mixtape scene for a couple of years before this album came out, he came with his raspy flow and trademark punclines, his mixtapes were very good overall, and he was awarded mixtape artist of the year 2003, however, his album is a massive letdown, the production is good, nothing outstanding, but listenable, however, where it falls short is versatility and subject matter, all lloyd banks raps about how much of a gangster he is, which he is probably not, because the leader of his rap group is a snitch, how many women he has, and how big his chain is, it would be ok, if anyone actually cared, what happened to rapping about something meaningful or deep, lloyd banks does not seem to have that ability, also, he does nothing but punchlines, he is not veratile, he cannot do storytelling or political, or thoughtful tracks, as i said before, also, and he cant really rhyme, most of his rhymes dont make sense, and he relies heavily on his accent for words to rhyme, even though if you say them properly they hardly rhyme at all, he has a very monotone flow on this album, and raps with the skill of a 10 year old, even though their are some good punclines, if you buy some big l, Copywrite, j.r. writer mixtapes, or papoose mixtapes, you will see that all those rappers(especially big L) make lloyd banks's punchlines seem very elementary and weak, buy his mixtapes instead, stay away from this

NEVER MIND HUNGARY FOR MORE IM STARVING
THIS ALBUM IS GREAT NOT QUITE AS GOOD AS GET RICH OR DIE TRYIN BUT ON A PAR WITH BUCK AND MILES BETTER THAN YAYO. GRANTED MANY OF THE BEATS AND BEST RHYMES CAN BE FOUND BY OTHER ARTISTS BUT HIS IS STILL HIS ALBUM OF WHICH HE ADDS HIS CLASSIC STYLE AND DROPS GREAT HITS SUCH AS WORK MAGIC, WARRIOR PRT 2 AND TILOL THE END. br /gREAT ALBUM FOR ANY HIP HOP LUVVA
