NTSC / PAL
Please be advised that you may get the NTSC version with MONO soundtrack and not the PAL DTS version.

After I already received the DVD, it was out of stock and than was available again. I e-mailed Amazon asking them if the version theu offer now is the DTS and they answered it is.

I am not sure about that.

HYPNOTIC STRAUSS
Two discs recorded to perfection. Although the 1974 concert was not a "classic" the other disc encompassing the "Boskovsky era" up to 1979 mirrors the high regard that the public have for this annual event. With his infectious smile and his willingness to cajole the orchestra members, the dvd's show their leader to be a master musician. Additionally, the inclusion of humour (see the pig presented to Boskovsky etc) is welcome and does not detract. The 1960's film quality is not the best but as ever with Boskovsky, the music making is of a high quality.
