??????????????
i really dont understand why people can find this dvd difficult to follow. i'm not a dancer, never have been a dancer but found the moves easy to get the hang of. obviously not correct first time round but the more u do it the better u get. thats the idea.

i bought the hotpants dvd and what a waste of money. THAT is for professional dancers! no point in doin that because am tryin so hard to get the moves right i'm not getting any sort of workout.

i found this hiphop dvd fun and stuck to it, once u know the moves u can really go for it and make yourself sweat! am gutted ive lost mine, might jst buy another

fun, groovy workout
I really really enjoy this dvd every time i do it and don't understand why some people find the moves too hard to master.

Although i did a lot of dancing as a child, i am by no way a professional dancer and i managed to pick up the moves quickly and accurately after the second attempt. Now when i do the workout - i really work up a sweat as i'm familiar with the moves and the routine and i concentrate more on putting energy into the dance than being step perfect.

I will say however that the setting is a bit random and you can't hear the music when the train goes past a couple of times - but that just made me laugh!

Awesome DVD
I absolutely love to dance, so when I found this dvd I got really excited. I have been working out for a little while, but still building up stamina, and have absolutely no dance experience.

The dvd is split up into sections, which I have found invaluable. Rather than attempt the entire thing at once, I find just doing section 1 four times to get the hang of it is a great workout in itself. It's true he doesn't take you through the moves in baby steps, but after watching it a couple of times, it is possible to catch on, and I now know them all!

Tony Stone's choreography is really amazing, these moves are cool and something I might even pull out on the dance floor at a club, and they ARE absolutely learn-able. As long as what you really want to do is dance, and have a tonne of fun while you're doing it, you will love this dvd.

Funky, Stylish and Musical
If you want to move in the African American style, this and Hip Hop Workout 1 are the DVDs to get. The music is hauntingly beautiful, the settings, the diverse international dancers, the energy, are right on target. The first video is fairly easy, but hard enough for any beginner to need time to get it right. The second one really steps up the level, but again without being frustrating. Bottom line: Tony Stone is an artist (clips are on YouTube), and everything about each of these videos is about art, from the clothes to the setting and the mood. Yet he has a great sense of humor to keep you going! Beautiful. Oh - I almost forgot: you'll be building up your muscles from the first beat.

No structure and if you're fit, not worth it!
I bought this and was unimpressed.
The camera shot moves around too much making it difficult to get the moves right and not being a dancer how am I to know what 'kick ball turn' is?

The DVD may be good for those that have done street dancing before but it is far from straight forward. I would also not suggest it to anyone who is fairly fit as just stepping in different directions hardly challenges the heart. Although maybe good if you do nothing else.

Overall I has unimpressed and will stick to Tae Bo which is not dance related but is one of the few DVDs for those with a bit of stamina.
