~Britney Gold encaptured onto two discs~
Britney Spears,the true definition of a superstar, she has released hit after hit after hit with her amazing albums. br /My Perogative is a compilation album that contains the biggest selling singles(every single one released)plus three new songs-My prerogative,Do Somethin' and Haven't Begun. br /all three are fabulous and different in style and production much in a similar vein to the acclaimed In The Zone. br /i purchased this album back in 2004 and was delighted to find remixes of songs on the second disc. br /this is a must have essential collection for the fans...also Blackout and Circus are must have albums to purchase today!!(Circus in particular is stunning and epic).

The Second Madonna
I always think of Britney Spears as a "second Madonna",perhaps not so streetwise in her music as the latter,and on this compilation she is no exception.The title track is beguiling,seductive,powerful and polished. br /The songs on this album suck you in to their spell and are danceable and funky.My favourite track,Stronger,is poignant and anthemic,it has helped me through troubled times. br / br /This album will appeal to teenagers and slightly older fans,its br /a must have for every Britney follower.

Pop at it's best
This album is packed full of Britney's most successful songs, from her first album to her fourth album. br /1. My prerogative. A great start to a outstanding album, great backround. 10/10 br / br /2. Toxic. In my opinion one of Britney's best songs,great to dance to.10/10 br / br /3. I'm a slave 4U. Another one of Britney's best songs,sticks in your head, very catchy. 10/10 br / br /4.Oops! I did it again. Good song,never get bored with it. 9/10 br / br /5. Me against the music. Quite good, not my favourite Britney song though.7/10 br / br /6. Stronger. Very powerful,emotional song with lots of feeling to it.8/10 br / br /7.Everytime. br /I'm not very keen on slower songs for Britney I prefer her faster songs with more beat but this i still a good song to sing. 7/10 br / br /8.Hit me baby one more time. Britney's first ever song and very memorable. 9/10 br / br /9. You drive me crazy. Britney at her best good beat. 10/10 br / br /10. Boys. Good song not up to the standard of some of the other songs on this album but still high quality. 8/10 br / br /11. This song in my opinion is the weakest and most dissapointing song on the whole album, as it's very boring and repetitive. Just goes on and on. 4/10 br / br /12. Overprotected. Another great hit. 8/10 br /13. Lucky. Great melody and lyrics. 8/10 br /14. Outrageous. One of my favourites 9/10. br /15.
