Recharged or Discharged???
On the whole, not a terribly good DVD. Lets stat with the good stuff: there are lots of very good special features, including onboard cameras with Sebastien Loeb and Harri Rovanpera.

On the other hand, there are no shortage of bad points:
1. Actual review just 52 minutes long
2. No coverage of driver changes: eg, why Freddy Loix was sacked
3. Commentary by Paul King is good, but the dual with that woman is just rubbish
4. The highlights of the JWRC and PWRC are put together and the featurette is just 3 minutes long
5. No introduction to any of the rallies.

Overall, despite being a huge WRC fan (go Harri Rovanpera!) I do not recommend this purchase. Even though it is delightfully cheap!!

style over substance
This years season review is rather disappointing. It repeats the recent trend of showing a rather brief review of the season then beefing up the dvd with special features. While these special features are interesting (on board footage,etc) they detract from what should be the main focus of the disc - what actually happened on the rallies that make up the WRC season. Only about half of the disc is dedicated to the review. This means that we see about 50% less action than the older VHS versions used to contain. In the future let us hope that these dvds capture more of the substance of World rallying rather than just the style!
