17" Widescreen LCD TV with Freeview!
If you're looking for a small 17" widescreen LCD TV for a bedroom or kitchen this is the product to buy. This TV has many state-of-the-art features...

It's screen technology is of course LCD, meaning you can stand it on a thin shelf, or even hang it on the wall. Being LCD the TV is surprisingly light, making it easy to turn around to get to the connections on the back, and easy to move from one room to another. There is a handle on the back which makes it very easy to grip and lift.

The LCD provides a state-of-the-art sharp picture, with solid blacks and vibrant colours. The screen is infact high-definition with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, so text is very sharp and fine details are abundant. Unfortunately the TV lacks an HDMI input so isn't properly "HD Ready" however it does have a progressive component input, as well as a D-Sub 15-Pin PC input.

What makes this LCD different and better than current offerings from Sony and Panasonic is the fact that it features an internal Freeview tuner. There are currently very few 17" widescreen LCD TVs that have a Freeview tuner. What this means is, the TV gives you access to over 30 free digital TV channels, most of which are broadcast in widescreen. When you turn the TV on for the first time it auto-tunes itself, scanning for and setting up all those Freeview channels. Within a couple of minutes of plugging it in you'll be watching digital TV in glorious widescreen.

This truly is a great product. The only negative thing I have to say about it concerns the sound quality. The speakers aren't that great. They can produce clear speech, but they struggle on music. Plus there's a total lack of bass. So, for watching DVDs, you're best off getting a Hi-fi or PC-style active speaker system to provide the sound for you.
