Excellent Teaching Resource
This is a gem. Music Ace 2 is a very well developed programme for the young student of music, educational without being at all dull. Follows on from the excellent Music Ace 1, teaching beginning tempo, rhythm, introduces the various concepts of all the differences in tempo, beat, scales, key signatures, rhythm and more with a series of lessons and games. Teaches about the grand staff, also has a "doodle pad" where kids can make their own music & hear it played back to them, very easy to use with drag and drop notes. You can hook up your MIDI keyboard to your computer & work the lessons that way.

Tracking Progress: This educator version allows the tracking of an individual's(up to 240 different individuals) progress through lessons and games. A "completion count" provides the number of times the user has gone through each section of a lesson and "games progress" provides high scores.

The Educator's version comes with a very useful teachers guide which is a great resource for getting the most out of Music Ace in a school enviroment.
If your not a teacher just buy the ordinary Music Ace or Music Ace 2 you won't need the guide or the trcking of 240 individuals so you can save some money.
