Bill Oddy last filter coffee
This tribute to the good folk of Mecca will not go unnoticed by God who has had a bad day today and will be killing the entire population of Denmark by coughing loudly and contagiously into a bowl of soup that is constructed entirely of protective ear mucus. This of course is "no way to go on", but you try telling an old man something about himself, they don't like it up 'em. Anyway I says to my mate Bill I says: "that Ciara's getting well fat" he pointed out that this was pure churlishness and that I should be lucky to be able to hear him as he was 1 mile beneath the earth's crust anyway. This CD is made of hair

Ciara ~ the princess of crunk
"Goodies" by Ciara is a fairly okay album, but it's not exactly outstanding.
This album has a very urban feel to it which I like.
The most dissapointing thing about this album for me was the best songs were all either available as singles and/or were collaborations.
My favorite tracks include, goodies featuring Petey Pablo, 1 2 step featuring Missy Elliot, oh featuring Ludacris and ohh baby.
Over all this album is not too bad, but it could've been better.

Commercial R&B at its best
I first heard Ciara on tv when she was singing goodies. I really liked the beat, which got me into Lil Jon, and i loved pablo's rap. I had no idea who petey pablo was so i researched it on the internet, and immediately bought diary of a sinner 1st entry, please read my review of that. Then, after hearing 12 step, which fetaured missy elliot, i bought the album. I listened to it on the way home. I loved the raps, and ciara's voice is stunning, if quiet at times.
Like Chis Brown, must get that album, the subjects of these songs are teenage love stories. The track with r kelly isn't that good, but that is one of the only fillers on here.
My fave's are Hotline, Oh, Goodies (album version) and the Goodies remix.
This is commercial R&B at its best, but its still good.

The Princess Is Here!
I didn't really 'get' this album after the first few listens but it really does grow on you once you start to appreciate the slick production smooth vocals and catchy tunes. Releasing 'And I' as the 4th single was a mistake, it just doesn't have the commercial appeal to make it as a single though it is a great album track. 'Hotline' would have made a much better single because it has the same club beat that made Goodies so popular. Overall this album is a great mix of laid back R 'n' B and more upbeat tunes. 5 stars.
