Sensual massage with genital massage towards the end
As Tantric massage teachers and practitioners we were keen to see how this DVD differed from our own style and methods.

Almost 2/3 of the DVD is dedicated to basic massage techniques and getting the ambiance of the room and the right atmosphere in which to enjoy this extremely pleasurable and intimate form of massage.

As an introduction to tantric massage, couples in particular, will enjoy this introductory part of the film although tantrika's already on the path will probably find it too obvious.

A genuine tantric massage does include a long period of preparation, and generating a sensual and sacred atmosphere, ambiance, a sense of ritual and calm expectation and I think the film does this well here.

However the coverage of massaging the genitals i.e., "lingam and yoni massage" in tantra speak, was only covered towards the end of the film and was very superficial, lacked vitality, technique and tantric sexual energy.

From our experience, when giving (and receiving) tantric massage, most people move into this space, with increased deep breathing, body movements such as streamlining (pleasant body spasms), murmurings, panting, orgasm, and even screaming, crying or laughing depending upon the individual. It was therefore disappointing to see almost no movement or sound from the people who were being massaged and therefore this part of the film comes across as a little unauthentic. However, I suspect the makers of this DVD didn't want it to be too explicit as it could be viewed as soft porn - which it definitely is not.

Despite all the reservations listed here, I would still recommend this DVD to people either out of curiosity about this specific part in the world of tantra, or as an introduction to it particularly for couples who want increased intimacy, sensual space and sexual feelings and the learning of new sexual / spiritual massage techniques. It would also be useful introduction to massage therapists who are thinking of incorporating tantric massage techniques into their existing practises.

I would also recommend purchasing Leorah's "Tantric Sexuality CD - we use it in our tantric massage sessions with couples and singles and while it is not the most brilliant of "new age" music it does work very well with this type of massage!
Finally, for a humourous video instruction on the art of lingam massage, search youtube for "sex and the city" and tantric massage. It will make you smile!

Overview
Too much talk about how flowers & candles help the ambience, for us as a couple, we wanted to know more about the massage techniques. Could do better than this DVD.

I guess if you dont have the faintest how to massage or how to excite your partner by touching their erotic areas, you may just find this useful. If not in the above catagory, dont bother with this DVD.

DVD Review
I have bought this hour long dvd and the book which accompanies it. I found it to be a useful tool to show how the massage techniques should be performed. I did not find it titillating, rather sensual, so if this is what you are after it will not be for you. It is a straightforward beginners guide to massage and Tantric tradition and can open doors for you if you wish to take it further. The book has further detail and I would definitely recommend getting that to go with it.
May be the author is going to make the follow up advanced techniques for the keen amongst us.

Utter waste of money
DO NOT BUY THIS DVD. Barely even soft porn; nothing to recommend it. It's a 40-minute DVD of which about 35 minutes are just describing how to do massage techniques that everyone already knows anyway. Nothing tantric about them at all. The last few minutes are supposed to be specifically to do with tantric techniques, but all they show is how to massage your partner's genitals, undoubtedly something that anyone with a partner already does in any case. I say again: DO NOT BUY THIS DVD
