Some very interesting and rare footage there! A must-have for anyone who is interested in the history of Formula One.
I ordered the 1950's and the 1960's and so my comments are for both. The only reason I gave any stars is that the newsreel and other footage of the races is quite good. Unforunately the commentary is dire! It is non-stop fact after fact with no pause. As each race is described in about 3 minutes including drivers, circuits and cars, you simply end up drowned in detail. What is worse, the commentary is only loosely tied to the images, so you often don't know if you are watching what is being described. "The Power and the Glory" is much better, although I think is only available on VHS. These DVD's are quite expensive and are not worth the money in any respect
