This is the first three episodes of the show, edited together into one 60 minute long feature. And it covers all of the superman origin, from the infant kal el leaving krypton [a beautifully understated and moving scene as one man realises the planet is about to explode] to his arrival on earth and then in metropolis, and his debut and meeting with lois lane and lex luthor. Dana delaney voices a very attractive and beatifully drawn lois and clancy brown voices the best version of lex ever. he has just the right tone of understated menace.
the extras on the disc are lots of clips showing each of the main characters, and a guide on how to draw superman. both are probably better suited to younger viewers.
It's a shame these episodes are edited together but you only lose the credits, and I'd rather have a set of all the individual episodes. but these are so good it rates 5/5
