Wierd and wonderful
An interesting voice to listen to if you like this kind of music otherwise it maybe seemed as a little melancholy to the virgin ear.

Brilliant!
This album is simply brilliant. The entire thing from start to finish. My favorite song is Man is a Baby but most people seem to like Bird Gurl and You are My Sister. There is a lot of good music coming out at the moment despite what people has about the current climate of crappy Britney stuff but honestly it has been a long while since I have been so moved by someone's voice. Antony has a goegeous voice that is just simply haunting and achingly beautiful at the same time. I highly recommend this album to anyone! :)

Free at last
Powerful moving somber and uplifting are words that describe, but do not fully enscapsulate the experience of listing to this music. It's music that you feel inside you. Deep inside you. br / br /I'm a new comer to Antony and the Johnsons and at first I didn't know what to make of the them. I mean the music is beautiful, but it's the power of Antony's voice. Deep and full of pain I fully get it now. br / br /I'm so happy that I found them. br / br /:)

frenzy
i have to stop playing this cd in the car. track 7, oh antony if you knew how this song works me into a frenzy, is 'Fistful of Love' and i can't help but launch into tremulous duet, especially at this part: ' and i feeel your burning eyeees, burning holes, straight through my heart, it's outta lo-u-ve, it's outta lo-uve'. Frankly it's dangerous and not just because whipped up like that i am distracted but also because i start waving my fist around and other drivers think i am in the throes of road rage. far from it... they could cut me up all they like and all i would care about is antony, me, lou, love, fists, violence, burning eyes etc. the other songs are great too by the way.
