Excellent Scalrs
I purchased these scales for around £39 however,personnally, I couldn't get on with them, I prefer the more traditional add and weigh scales, but that is only my opinion. They are excellent scales,they look nice, have many features, and would be ideal for the digital age cook,but not for me personally.

Easy Peasey, Lemom Squeezy
You need to have one of those little square batteries.

Once assembled (really easy screw down the lid feature), switch on the scales, via the red 'on' button.

Use the manual to locate a 3 digit code. An example, would be: oranges, raw and pealed, code 256.

Put said orange onto scales, enter code and then press, either one of the the required features, such as prot, carb, fats, cal, chol or fibre. Which ever one you do press, the required nutritional info for your orange will come up. If you want more or less orange, then add or subtract some segments and the nutritional data will automatically adjust.

It really is that easy.

A really simple add and weigh feature is also available.

Well worth the money.

What a bargain!
I went mad at Christmas and put on 14-pounds in weight, so I bought these scales to help lose it. They do everything they say they do on the box. They are easy to operate and beautiful to look at.

But most delightful of all is the fact that I paid twenty-six quid for them at Amazon online and then saw exactly the same scales on sale in a department store in Croydon for sixty-five quid.

What a bargain!

Didn't work!
Was very excited about the scales as we're trying to diet and it's so difficult guessing quantities. Put the battery in the little fiddly socket - major problem getting it in and the battery became burning hot within about 5 seconds. Hoping desperately it was the battery, bought another one and this time could only get one side of the socket on - battery instantly became burning hot again. So still no scales, a long queue at the post office beckoning, and no doubt won't get the back. Why don't they test these things - these are expensive scales!

A minute on the lips a year on the hips
I have reluctantly put myself on a diet after a few months of over indulgence. This gizmo is really handy because it allows me to count my intake and still cook with fresh ingredients which for some reason don't tend to have the same level of nutritional information as your average ready meal. My major weakness is Gorgonzola so this is a good way to ration myself without cutting it out completely.
