Tip Top Timer
Wow - a timer has revolutionised our cooking....ok that may be over the top, however I am not sure how we managed before. The magnetic attatchment works fine with the steel splashback over the cooker....and moisture from boiling etc has not caused this device to fail.

It has been proven that when cooking it is nigh on impossible to judge time and even though we have several clocks in our kitchen as soon as your mind switches back to the tv, children etc one forgets that something is on the hob/in the oven.

The timer's alarm is loud enough to be heard upstairs and goes on long enough that you will pick it up even if in garden.

One minor gripw is the 99 minute limit when it comes to doing roasts etc....i.e. you have to set the timer for the basting intervals and reset each time. A minor bad point on an otherwise good product

And all for £5 - This is a no-brainer ~ why would you want to spend more.

Waste of "time"
Forgive the pun but this really is waste of time. The display is so small it's not much larger than that on a digital watch. I bought this to replace another timer that has suddenley gone wrong after years of use but this one is going straight back to Amazon. It might be cheap but that is its only virtue.

Great little timer
I really like these neat little timers. Not useful if you need to look from a distance but a nice loud beep, count up as well as down, and very easy to set up. They are more robust than you might think. Cheap too (when I bought it - it has doubled in price since!). I would buy these again.
