Excellent design
Perhaps the lack of hours is a limitation but this is a well thought out unit. It will stand on the fridge (or other metal object) using its magnet as well as on a table. The large display is clear and easy to read. Setting is simple to understand and the large buttons are good for "clumsier hands".

not so hot
I have several different timers. This one was the most expensive, the first for the buttons to stick, and doesn't count up from zero, only down from the input time. I would not recommend it.

great timer - pity it doesn't measure hours
this timer is great - the only problem is that you can't use it to time anything that takes over 99 minutes to cook, so that rules out roasts and casseroles. Very easy to operate, easy to read, and the alarm is very loud but not unpleasant. Even my 4 year old son can set it for me.

A good little gadget
I love how easy this is to read - I can set it going and still keep an eye on it from the other side of the room. The buttons are really big and easy to use with my clumsy fingers. It's robust, reliable and really simple to use, unlike so many other digital timers.

The reason it lost one star? After 18 months, the beeper is getting a little quiet and the magnet fell of the back once we actually started using it. But hey, 18 months isn't a bad life span for a digital timer in my experience, and despite showing its age it is still going.
