A Magnificent, Creative Selection of Music
I feel that this is a brilliant mix of upbeat tracks that any person could play whilst chilling out after a hard day at work. I would recommend to this to most people especially those with stressful careers such a fireman, policeman or even teachers. Whatever your taste in music and i am sure this will be your favourite CD this summer! x

Not enough respect paid to the originals
In theory a good idea - fresh interpretations of jazz classics, attuned to the modern ear. In practise - it doesn't really work.
The Problem: in nearly all cases the original voice (Ninal Simone, Anita O'Day, Dinah Wahington etc) is treated only as a sample to decorate fairly bland and unoriginal dance tracks. This album is for the club dance floor not for the hi fi in your living room. Each classic vocal is far to low in the mix, in some cases barely discernable above the cliched thump thump breakbeats. If you like electronic dance music you may like this. If you are a fan of jazz, you will probably hate it.
