not what you or anyone would expect
Lamb have come up with a masterpiece in this 2 cd set to round off their career as a musical enterprise. the remix culture might have died but this is doing its best to reincarnate it.

The M.J cole remix of gabriel and the dead boys remix of wonder add a club dimension to the double disc with the atmospherics being placed in hevaen's funkystorng remix. Having alreayd had Klute's little things the guy called gerald remix of cottonw ool doesnt disspapoiint. This cd takes you through sad and chilled to a club rave atmosphere abnd back to the night after.

It isnt strictly a rave or dance cd nor was it designed to be but it is good at eveyrthing it doews because of the sheer variety. The track listing i s alittl eweird but overall doesnt disrupt the cd's.

To some people this represents more of a complication than a compilation, that is there problem.

A "must-buy" collection of remixes!
This is great, a very eclectic mixture of tracks in various styles from ambient to drum'n'bass to downright wierd. The vocals are what really sets off many of these tracks, giving an eerie presence not found elsewhere. The remixes here make for very interesting listening, you never know what you're gonna get next after each track finishes. There is a wealth of curious sounds and depth of bass here for you. I know it's a remix album but I honestly think it's Lamb's best since their self titled debut! Great stuff. Buy it now! This is something truly original and stimulating to listen to.

Good but a bit mixed up...
This 2 CD set has some absolutely beautiful tunes and remixes on it (The Global Communication remix of Gorecki just makes your hair stand on end and the Kruder & Dorfmeister mix of Trans Fatty Acid is an all time classic).

The downside is that some of the remixes aren't that great and it isn't well structured as an album to sit down and listen to in terms of track order. I think this album could have benefitted from being 1 CD rather than 2 with the tracks ordered differently.

I'm only niggling though, I am simply annoyed because this could have been perfect, but wasn't - It's still full of great tracks and the fact it isn't mixed, in the DJ sense of the word, means that it makes great source material for us digital mix freaks.
