I missed this on tv, so I'm watching in sequence on DVD instead. Introduction of new characters in the form of Rupert Penry-Jones and Olga Sosnovska are welcome, but again act as a signal that changes are afoot... I enjoyed the cameos in this season too - Andy Serkis (Lord of the Rings) turns up, as does Ian McDiarmid (Star Wars). Good engaging drama, plenty of edge-of-your-seat tension - Spooks gives good value for very watchable tv.
This series just keeps getting better. Totally enjoyable, well written superbly acted, I've got them all on DVD. The only problem is that there are only 10 episodes, it is over all too soon and you have to get the next season's box...
Not so slick as series 1 and 2 ; too much time spent on the personal side of some of the characters rather than a focus on strong narrative storylines. This series was probably the low point in an otherwise excellent series of series; check out Spooks 7 for a real return to form.
Fantastic to see Harry and his team working to combat terrorists on the streets of London, had doubts it would work without Tom Quinn but really good.
What an excellent BBC series this is. Good stories, good actors and well written.
