Nickleback haven't made it this far by throwing their audience difficult curveballs, and All The Right Reasons--the Canadian quartet's fourth full-length--continues their run of uncomplicated, testosterone-soaked hard-rock albums without a wobble. Frontman Chad Kroeger still approaches the act of songcraft like he's chopping wood, grunting and sweating under the weight of gritted-teeth rock-outs like "Fight For All The Wrong Reasons" and "Someone That You're With". Critics have it in for Nickleback for many of the same reasons they have it in for Stereophonics--these songs promise emotional weight and hard-won truths, but have a tendency to mistake joylessness for passion. However, you can spot the hits a mile off. "Side Of A Bullet" is dedicated to deceased ex-Pantera man Dimebag Darrell, and even features an overdubbed axe solo from said guitarist, while "Photograph" sees Kroeger getting misty-eyed--almost whimsical--over an old school photo. Ultimately, though, it's more of the same. Which should suit the Nickleback faithful just fine. --Louis Pattison

Belter of an album
The first I heard these tunes were when Nickelback supported Bon Jovi on a concert - completely blew me away. I actually thought the energy and songs almost out done the main show. The album is very energetic from the moment go. Some ballads like Photograph, Far Away and Savin' Me are great and slows the the pace a little, but the vocals are powerful and keeps the listener glued.
The album is great and a superb follow-up to their last album. I really can't wait to see them live, I will recommend you do the same, start buy listening to this album. Awsome.

Awesome album.
I have never really considered buying a Nickelback album, but seeing the price, I decided "Why not?".
I am so glad I did! It's an absolutely fantastic CD. Whether you're rocking out to the harder songs such as "Follow you home" and "Fight for all the wrong reasons" or relaxing to the somewhat melancholy tracks like "photograph" and "Far Away". All songs are great, really, each taking on there own meaning. No matter which song you listen to, I guarantee you, you will love thi album!

Brilliant
What an amazing album.. Have had it a while now but it's still on repeat.. Best album by Nickelback by far.. Would definitely recommend..

BUY THIS!!
Just BUY IT - if your a fan of rock at all your gonna love it. Ive just listened to it once and am amazed as its had an instant effect. You know the way some albums take a while to grow, then you think theyre amazing? well this does it from the first bars of the first song. cant wait to listen a few more times to see how better it will sound! Every song is a winner, with the singles Rockstar and Photograph possibly coming down the list so if you liked them then your gonna LOVE this. Cant recommend highly enough - great mixture of pop rock, ballads and some pretty heavy stuff too. All in all something for everyone from one of the most overlooked and underestimated rock bands around right now.
