Monitor audio I Deck
I purchased this item in October 2006. It appeared to work well until recently however, It suddenly stopped working and the Ipod stopped working at the same time.

I found that the power supply was not working (i.e no voltage). I also feel that this device led to the Ipod being damaged.


I now have a duff system and a duff ipod as well. i am trying to get both repaired.

sounds so good but broke so easy
I purchased this fantastic little system after much research just over 12 months ago - dont have much time to listen to music and have fairly eclectic taste...Jelly Roll Morton to Bjork and all sorts in between. Was always impressed by sound quality even at low volumes - detail and bass was excellent. BUT the connecter just came away with the iPod AND I'm ALWAYS careful with my kit!..I am really shocked and disappointed...not only was it quite a lot of money but it appears that I cant find a replacement (only seen black ones @£200+). Dont normally moan but well fed up with this I'd still buy another 'cause it sounds so good!....but it really did fail without warning or provecation....

Yes it's fine, but after a lot of usage the connector broke and no, I'm not ham fisted!

Great piece of kit!
This is by far the best piece of kit I have purchased for the ipod so far. I have been slightly disappointed with the below average sound quality when listening to the ipod through headphones but the sound quality from the i-deck is fantastic for such a small system.

Granted, as some of the reviews have stated, a dead battery in your remote means you can't use it and the blue led could be annoying to some. These are very minor points when this system does what you want it to and produces great sound as well as looks good. I've spent 3 and 4 times as much on stereos in years gone by and never had sound this good.

If you're in the market for one of these then buy the i-deck, you'll not be disappointed. The reviews speak for themselves.

Nano Compatability
The main reason that I have decided to review this product is because Amazon wont listen to my complaint that there spec is wrong! This product does work with the Nano, even the new version (with an extra free bezel from I-deck) This product gives excellent sound and looks great. The mains adaptor works from 100v > 230v and comes with european and usa socket adaptors included.
