Amazon.co.uk ReviewApparently there's nothing in Kabbalah that disallows sweaty, head-spinningly good dance music, because here comes a flame-haired Madonna hawking a dozen songs' worth: IConfessions on a Dance Floor/I darts seamlessly from Madge's early days, when she emerged as the genre's enduring darling, through the political, kiddie, and acoustic pap that drove a wedge between her and early adopters of the fingerless glove look. img src="http://images.amazon.com/images/G/02/uk-music/images/sdp/madonna.jpg" width="186" height="150" align="right" pSongs like the pop-leaning "Jump" and first single "Hung Up"--an adrenaline drip on high that, like many of these tracks, will inspire mild shame among those who've thrilled to the much thinner disco-dusted outpourings of younger divas recently--represent both a return to form and an unmistakable march into the future. "Get Together" is a sonic freak-out in the best sense; "Push" traffics in gut-level futuristic trance; and "Forbidden Love" loops in '80s blips and bleeps for a follow-me-into-the-past effect that's both neo and retro. pFor all the image-affirming innovations here, though, these confessions find Madonna framed in her share of reflective moments too. "Was it all worth it/How did I earn it?" she asks on "How High," a song featuring vocoder. "Nobody's perfect/I guess I deserve it," comes the answer. pA later lyrical inquiry is left for the listener to judge: "Does this get any better?" Madonna wants to know. But that opens the door to a dizzying proposition--few of us would have guessed, after all, that it got this good. --ITammy La Gorce/I ptable width="100%" border="0" cellpadding="1" tr align="center" valign="top" td colspan="4"div align="left"strongMore to Explore/strong/div/td /tr tr align="center" valign="bottom" tdimg src="http://images-eu.amazon.com/images/P/B000002LND.01.TZZZZZZZ.jpg" width="110" height="110" border="0"/td tdimg src="http://images-eu.amazon.com/images/P/B00005Q66T.01.TZZZZZZZ.jpg" width="110" height="110" border="0"/td tdimg src="http://images-eu.amazon.com/images/P/0141380519.02.TZZZZZZZ.jpg" width="89" height="110" border="0"/td tdimg src="http://images-eu.amazon.com/images/P/1843356090.02.TZZZZZZZ.jpg" width="89" height="110" border="0"/td/tr tr align="center" valign="top" td width="25%"p align="center" iImmaculate Collection/i (CD)/td td width="25%" p align="center" iGHV2/i (binding)/p/td td width="25%"div align="center" p align="center" iMadonna ~ Lotsa De Casha/i (Hardcover)/p /div/tdtd width="25%" div align="center"p iOfficial Madonna Calendar/i/p /div/td/tr tr align="center" valign="top" td colspan="4" div align="center" p align="left"br img src="http://images-eu.amazon.com/images/G/02/x-locale/common/orange-arrow.gif" width="10" height="9" See more Madonna/p /div/td /tr /table

Don't get hung up on lyrics - just dance!forget the lyrics, Madonna is all about the groove. This is an awesome anthemic CD, with the superb Pet Shop Boys penned 'Sorry' and the hypnotic Abba-sampling 'Hung up' as its highlights. On top of this, the old girl don't half look good in that pink leotard for someone pushing fifty - or is that just me?

Fire Music"Fire" - that's the best word I can find to describe Madonna's futuristic techno-dance effort. It's one of those albums that I live for discovering. Confessions on a Dance Floor is its own little musical universe, where the music flows through you like fire and each song connects so seamlessly to the other that I forget that I'm listening to songs at all. With tempestuous melodies, sounds and beats, this high-charged, all-enveloping musical experience is in my opinion one of Madonna's most recognisable and breathtaking works; an unforgettable sonic journey. Were fire made into music, it would sound something like this.

Just One Try, That's All It Takes! This exclusive Japanese Limited Tour Edition has the cure for any person who feels down or just in need of a highly energetic funky disco rush. The dance ambiance is on high gear smashingly going from track to track non-stop --no pauses or breaks. It's about leaving your worries behind, forgetting your problems, and experiencing something completely different! This is a singles persons paradise selection as the tracks refer to the dilemmas many go through in their relationships, encounters, or challenges. Also quite grand is the mixture of disco, dance, and electronica accompanied by the excellent musical production.

br /Hung Up, Get Together, Sorry, and Jump are definite stand-out tracks with much catchy infectious grooves sure to satisfy. The other tracks are excellent enough to be singles as well. Let It Will Be is a fabulous track of letting things take their course and just letting go as destiny takes care of your worries. Push is a song she did for her husband Guy Ritchie expressing how his love helps her reach greater heights at times. Isaac has a very spiritual aura very refreshing to hear as Ray of Light also had many journeys of the soul.

br /Like It Or Not [also available in the UK version but w/o lyrics] has a very nice dance beat along Madonna's beautiful vocals. Some lyrics: "This is who I am you can like it or not you can love me or leave me because I'm never gonna stop." It is most definitely a nice addition to continue to themes and dance elements present on the previous tracks.
br /
br /Hung up about a lover who doesn't respond to phone calls or gestures? Let it will be, like it or not life goes on; don't push or jump to the thought of future lovers. Get together with friends, talk about your fantasies and forbidden love; Don't be sorry. Take your problems to the dance floor, let the emotions disappear, don't look back, dance away, and experience the future!
