Better at Mine
I suppose this is supposed to be in the great John Peel tradition of slamming different musical genres and different eras together back-to-back to create a rich, varied and contrasting experience. br / br /At times, however, it feels more like a rather lazy exercise in picking old records at random. You could achieve the same thing by plucking items from almost any half-decent long-term collection. Mr. Howlett isn't taking us anywhere new, and he must be having a laugh by ending with an ELO track. br / br /I expect some of your own compilation tapes/CDs are better. I know mine are.

Good
Well if you're expecting an extension of his previous Prodigy albums then you're going to be disappointed. This is not to say it's a bad compilation, in fact it's pretty solid with a good mixture and selection of tunes but sadly it lacks any logical order and smooth mixing. The new Prodigy tune from it sounds like more like his recent stuff (Never Outnumbered Never Outgunned) which you can make your own mind up about...mmmm

Another belter from Liam Prodigy
As a long-time Prodigy-fan, naturally I was keen to see what tracks Liam (THE Prodigy) has thrown together, for a series which has long been an intriguing delve into each artist's tastes, roots, influences. pThis mix is an insight into some of the influences and perhaps inspirations of the man behind The Prodigy. Its a roller-coaster of a compilation, that grabs your attention from the Prodigy’s belting intro and keeps you interested with every track, right to the end. The “mixing” of tracks is lacking, but this is largely irrelevant given the nature of the CD; the focus being on the track selection rather than the mixing itself. And my what a selection! ‘Chase the devil’ is a real surprise for those who haven’t heard it already, and Prodigy’s remix of Method Man’s ‘Release yo ‘Delf’ is quite possibly one of the best remixes i’ve heard, of anything, ever. But don’t buy it for that, buy it because its one of the most interesting and exciting compilations that been released of late. So what are you waiting for? You’re still reading. Go, go on... go buy!
