Great Phone
Great phone, good value, looks nice.
Only downside is the dodgy ring tones, but found one which will I can live with.
Good basic phone which does what it says.

Finite Lilfetime
I have bought these phones twice and have found that after a year or so, they stop working...its not just the battery either. Its value for money, but I have found that after 12-18 months you will get problems...

Basic and good
I'm not a fan of highly complex phones with features I rarely or never use. When I buy a phone I want it to do usually quite specific things, the main one being to make and receive calls with the minimum of fuss.
If a phone needs lots of setting up that puts me off too. If you are like me then I think you might agree with my views on this one; if you like highly complex gadgets then you won't.
This phone is light, easy to hold - not the feel of a metallic plastic cylinder that slips through the hand - and has simple controls. The features are basic and maybe one or two more may not be amiss; I like the idea of putting a sim card from a mobile and the thing downloads the address book; it saves some time and work. That's a small criticism though. Like another reviewer I like the availability of a basic phone ringtone and at this end of the market you are not going to get a huge range of tones to choose from.
The best way of buying anything is to decide exactly what you want, decide from what is available whether there are unknown features that you may like in addition, put them together and look for the item that best embodies what you want and no more or less. I was thinking of a slightly heavier phone with a few more features but what made me choose this one was the lightness; my partner has weakness in the wrists and a long call, when the speaker isn't desirable, would be uncomfortable with a heavier handset.
Like another reviewer, I too experienced great hiss with this phone and very muted voice but this was because I needed a filter; the router for my computer was interfering with the phone. All problems were then solved. Providing you want a basic phone with minimum gadgets and is quite ergonomic, choose this one.

Good Phone
Can't fault this one for the price, good quality - a little background hiss but then I haven't ever known a cordless phone which doesnt! Enough features to keep you amused (the usual address book etc) and are all straight forward. The ring tones include a standard "ring ring" which is always a bonus in these days of horrendous jingle ring tones.

All in all, it does the job and does it for a good price, 4/5.

Awful, don't buy these phones
Why? Because they are rubbish. I bought this pair and they would only work for incoming calls. The line was covered in hiss, and was really quiet. The ring tones are HORRIBLE, and all in all they are pretty much a waste of time. I borrowed a 20 year old corded phone and it works fine.
