Well, it's pretty good....
...if you are a Gino fan, this is pretty tasty. If you are not, this is, at the very least, real music played by real musicians. I never met the man, but grew up with his music, saw him up close at a pretty tight gig in Boston (The Paradise 1991), and appreciate what he is doing, and has always done. This song, to me, is good music. Melodic, funky, harmonically satisfying. Found it interesting that longtime collaborator brother Joe Vanelli is nowhere in sight on the credits. I always assumed that Joe was the catalyst for much of the music flavor, but credit where it's due. This is a tasty song, and am looking forward to hearing the rest of the record.
