Whereas Nymphetamine and Thornography are both excellent they do not match the quality of tune, brutality and sheer mental headbanging ability of this album. COF may well release an album as good some time but until that time comes this is their pinnacle. If you want one song as an example Lord Abortion. The very first COF track I ever heard and still my favourite (yes I have heard From the Cradle to Enslave) even though they don't perform it live anymore. Enjoy fellow COF fans and newcomers alike!
I bought this album for my boyfriend for xmas this year to add to his vast collection of COF CD's... he absolutely loves it... hes very grateful that i bought it for him... i would recommend this product for sure!!
This album is what you'd expect from Cradle Of Filth, one brilliant track after another. This album doesn't disappoint, and every Cradle fan should have this one in their collection. Buy it and enjoy!
This is easily one of Cradle's classic albums, Cthulu Dawn and Lord Abortion RULE!! Definately worth buying, Danni's vocal skills never sease to amaze me.
I was in University when this album came out. Half hour later I was at the checkout. Half hour after that I was at home listening to the best buy I'd made in months. The Music is, to use an old cliche, haunting, but very powerfull and the lyrics are diamond edge. On the other hand it may take a few runs through to get used to, but listen to it till it becomes music to your ears and I promise you it will. 'Her Ghost in the Fog' is proof beyond doubt that Dani Filth has grown from strength to strength, despite what certain x-members might say.
