If you’re a seasoned chef or even someone who just likes to dabble on the odd occasion the Multiquick was made for you. It doesn’t cover off everything a professional food processor does – but it gets darn close and isn’t as bulky or space consuming. With modern kitchens become more minimalistic and less spacious this kit is perfect, it covers off 6 functions in one.

I’ve really put this to the test – I’ve cooked, baked, whisked, chopped, smoothied and more. Depending on what you’re chopping, baking, whisking, etc it can perform in 15 different speeds (that’s more gears than my bike!), so it’s very sensitive for whipping cream or extra powerful if you’re chopping nuts or ice.

I even made fresh soup as you can even use the blender with hot liquids (right in the pan). And on the other extreme I made a frozen blueberry and banana shake, with ice (using the ice crusher). Both were simple and easy to make and the blender stepped up to the job in seconds.

The blender even had an anti splash design so don’t worry about making a mess, plus the key parts are dishwasher safe. And if you need to use multiple attachments they couldn’t be easier to switch and swap over, one click off and one click on.

It also comes with a wall attachment so you can keep a clear work surface. I’ve found this a key part of kit for my kitchen and food preparation and didn’t know what I did before, it come with my high recommendation. But it's so good!
I can't believe the reviews so far have been so bad! I have had this blender and attachments for five years and nothing has broken or gone awry in all that time. I'm certainly not a lady who regularly gushes about kitchen appliances but I really, really, really think this is a great one. I use the chopper, whisk and blender regularly and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this model.

Worked well for a year or so
We've had a succession of these over the years. Each seems to die faster than the previous. This one lasted about a year before the gearing inside just stopped working.


We liked the stainless attachment (at least it doesnt end up being stained by tomatoes like the plastic ones).

We liked the big blending jug too though I always seem to lose the blade when I need it in a hurry, and we liked the ease with which the lids can be taken off. Used another brand at a friends house recently and taking the lid off the chopping bowl was a nightmare. Something to watch for.

I thought we were just unlucky with this unit, but having read the reviews and found others with the same problem, I'm looking elsewhere.

Great until it breaks
I purchased my blender Jan 07 and in Feb 08 it broke. The gearing inside the machine failed and although the motor was working, there was no power at the working end.
After real grief with Braun who were a nightmare, Amazon replaced the item.
It is now Aug 08 and it has broken again - same problem with the gearing inside breaking.
Dont buy this as it is useless.

lame
tried to blend 50g soft butter in mini chopper and the motor gave out so all other attachments redundant also. only had 3 months. going to see what warranty i have. not optimistic after other comments.

Great product until something goes wrong
I have had this suite of kitchen gadgets for about 18 months and just love it. Very effective, powerful, easy to use. In truth I have found it a pleasure, and for a family which loves cooking, and experimenting it has proved to be a very popular gadget. BUT, I carelessly allowed something to drop from a height onto the larger jug, only to see it shatter in pieces. My fault, but I seem unable to source a replacement jug. There is no way I am going to buy a whole new set for the sake of a jug, but Braun just do not seem to be able to provide any reasonable customer service. Judging by the mixed reception of the product, it would seem to be their achilles heel.
