Amazon.co.uk ReviewSeason two of the television phenomenon that is ILost/I is where the questions, in many senses, started to be asked. Picking up directly after that first season cliffhanger, it sets off at a belting pace, continuing the adventures of a group of people stranded on a desert island following a place crash. Only, as becomes increasingly clear, the island is a mysterious place, and the survivors appear not to be alone.PIn true ILost/I fashion, the second season of the show is far better at firing out fresh questions than resolving previous ones, although again, it delights in throwing out clues that the web-inclines can research across the legion of unofficial fan websites. For the viewer of the second series of ILost/I though, there’s plenty to like, and plenty to tear their hair out over.POn the downside, after an intriguing beginning, too much of the second series settles into a comfortable rhythm, conforming too rigidly to a recipe of plenty of backstory, and not too much advancement of the main narrative. It’s a device that worked first time round, but becomes tiring during the saggy middle episodes. It’s a fair argument too that things move far too slowly and for little good reason.PThe upsides? Again, quite a few. There’s little doubt that the premise still holds intrigue, and the top and tail of season two are excellent. The last quarter, for instance, is both meaty and very entertaining, even offering clues to how the whole show may eventually end. So while even the ILost/I purest will surely conclude that season two is an uneven dish, there’s still much to feast on, albeit with the hope that season three gets round to answering a few more question. Please. --ISimon Brew/I

Love Lost or is it just JackI love Lost - but do wonder if I would like it as much if I didn't fancy Jack. Having said that, I do love lots of other characters too that I don't necessarily fancy - Sawyer, Locke, Sayid, Hurley and love the Scottish input too, Dennis. I better mention a girl too, Kate. So yeah, overall, great characters, great show. I'm looking forward to season three - which I'll be buying on DVD cause I don't even have digital tv so haven't ever seen any of it yet. People keep accidentally telling me things that are happening now in the current season - I'm not sure, but it sounds like I'll still love Lost as the seasons go on.

Lost gets bolder and the results are mind blowing!I say mind blowing and i mean that in several different ways. One, there are a dozen more questions cooked up in just the first episode. Things become far more science fiction, but never goes too far. The special effects are worthy of any major block buster. The new chracters actually work, although some don't last long. Yes this series is very different from season one. Very mysterious, perculiar, bizzare and intreaging - these are just a few words to describe it. Things kick off much slower and i can understand why some people became fustrated with the show as most were hoping for answers, but instead all we got were more questions. Quite frankly they don't understand what Lost is all about. I see it as one big puzzle that will gradually form over it's six series length. It won't always make sense or be clear, but thats because the puzzle isn't fully formed. The mystery is there to intise not to annoy it just depends how you persieve it. I for one like the narrative method as it makes you want to watch more and more. I think i am now an official Lost addict. The flashbacks continue and give further depth to old and new characters. The hatch is one big puzzle which gradully reveals more and more as the season continues. There are a plenty of twists, lots of shock moments, a few sad deaths and a black smoke monster! What more could you ask from a show. Lost is a cut above the rest, no doubt about it. No show as drawn me into its dark and dangerous web quite like Lost. It is a truelly brilliant show that is always satisfying to the audience. Despite its darkness there are still moments of comedy from great chracters like Charlie and Hurley and the tropical setting is possibly the iceing on the case. Fautless? of course not there's always room for critisism. The beggining is drawn out, confusing and doesn't give you enough answers, but stick with it and be patient as the second half of the season really is faultless and delivers on every level possible, even on levels you didn't no exsisted. A great purchase and i can't wait for the puzzle to form further in series 3!

Lost gets even betterFinally we find out whats in the hatch and the answer completely suprised me. However, in true Lost fashion, the answers only brings more compelling questions.
