feels cheap
the clip is not great for staying on a flat screen or laptop.

the software is horrible. it requires no fewer than 2 reboots (1 to install, 1 to update the install from the internet).

it messily creates loads of directories and shortcuts.

the quality of the picture is passable.

Over-rated
This cam is simply over-rated by users here. It's a cheap webcam. Recorded Video quality is good, but not great, even for the price. The most it would deserve is 4 stars. I guess 3 1/2 would be appropriate.

On the plus side people with no ability could install it, although the software package is fairly large at 50MB. The software is very good, the cam is hard to focus as most webcams are, although if you read the manual [1/4 inch thick,even there are only a few pages for each language] there are a lot of tweaking setting available. The included mic [goes in separately to the Mic port on your sound-card - and some less technical customer will have problems with that, trust me] is poor ,as you would expect from a cheap microphone.

Good for cheap,but, not even near an old camcorder in quality. Nearer 3 than 5 stars.

Excellent Value
Great piece of kit and easy to set up. Goes up to 800 x 600 resolution but is plenty clear enough on even the lowest setting. No jarring, clear picture and smooth movement without lag - am already looking at ordering another two for relatives.

Got this for my 14 year old daughter so she good yabba on with her mates on MSN the picture quality is great still trying to work out the microphone with our 8.1 sound card.

Value for Money
This does what it says on the tin, without any fuss whatever. A doddle to install, and the picture is far better than one is entitled to expect for the price. Value for money? Second to none.
