hmm
Not the greatest of razors, i have had one for a few weeks now and i have to say after i shave with this i still have to go over with a normal razor after. Quite frankly it just misses bits out and it would take forever to go back and back and back again for it to eventually pick it up.

Bit of a let down
Not so great, bought this for my fiance as he was fed up of replacing expensive blades and after reading the reviews and description, and trusting the Philips brand i thought this would be a great non complicated introduction to electric shavers....until it arrived. He was delighted with it at first as it looked the part but then upon opening the box theres NO UK plug!!!!! 2 pin plugs might have cut it in our parents age, in hotels or the homes of the ridiculously rich but i don't know anyone's homes these days that have a 2pin plug! I'm sure if you do then it'd be fine but we don't so it's not.

Worse still though it doesn't even give him a great shave, so he either ends up with stray hairs that haven't been cut or has to keep going over the same bit which then makes his face really sore (and still has stray bits)..perhaps this is a practice makes perfect thing but a simple, user friendly great shave for shavers of all experience (as you would expect from the price point) it mos't certainly isn't...although it does do the helpful things like light up when the (difficult to charge) battery is low to remind you to charge it (before your next bad shave). Back to the trusty Mach 3 before long i think!

Get what you pay for!
As always, you get what you pay for! This is pretty cheap for a shaver but I personally don't find the shave that close. I have used other electric shavers with reasonable results but with this one, I have quite an amount of stubble towards the end of the day, (which I didn't get with other shavers). It's not altogether clear from the description that although it's recharchable, that it won't actually work direct from the mains. Not a great problem in itself provided you re-charge when the reminder light comes on but the 25 minute shave time for the 8 hour charge is not a lot and optimistic I feel. I need to recharge pretty much every week. Probably a good buy if you're quite young with limited growth or don't mind shaving twice a day and re-charging twice a week.

Philips Shaver Rechargeable Rotary HQ7120
The shaver was ordered and I received it in the post a few days later which I thought was great.

The shaver arrived charged so I could use it straight away, brilliant.

It shaves really close and I was extremely pleased with its performance.

The trimmer also works really well without cutting the skin. In this I mean when trimming the armpits.

I would recommend this shaver.

Ultra Quiet, No Irritation, Wash Clean, Stylish good value
This is an excellent product which I will elaborate more on later however the listing on Amazon has a number of errors. Firstly there are no Fusion Boxes, or F-Boxes or pouches all you get is the Shaver, Shaver head cover, Cleaning brush and Charger which is a 2-pin shaver style. Also this does not have XL heads as far as I can see but HQ8 heads which last for an amazing 2 years! The unit is also warrantied for 2 years. The unit comes with Reflex Action and Individually floating heads, battery charge and battery low LEDs, Pop-Up Trimmer, Auto-Voltage Select and 8 hour charge for 8 days use. The unit cannot be used directly from the mains and must be charged. Having been wet shaving for a number of years I was very surprised to hear how quiet this unit is, it's almost making no noise. It performed as well as a wet shave but with no irritation. It doesnt require a lot of work to remove hair at all, contrary to what others have said. Cleaning could not be easier, this unit is waterproof and you just rinse the heads under the tap. The unit is not heavy and in my opinion is a great buy.
