Temptations 13524 Double Chocolate Fountain

Bought this product great to use double falls are a nice feature used it once for a birthday party and it was a big hit cleaned it up and boxed it safely away to use later...... Just over 1 year on and out of warranty went to use it for the second time and the motor that rotates the screws is no longer working, makes you wonder about the build quality if the machine only works once regardless of the amount of time in between uses.

Interesting that a previous reviewer encountered the same problem but were lucky enough for it to happen straight away and within warranty.

Great product when it works shame it only worked the once.

Nice but takes time to clean it all up
overall, good product to entertain guests. chocolate is somewhat a universal dessert ;)

criticism:

1) it has 3 legs (2 front n one at the back-center) so if children come and flock around it and give a little bit more of a push it could tilt the whole fountain and spill some chocolate (luckily choc is lukewarm temperature)

2) i don't know if its just this particular model or human technical error, there are times when there are gaps in the flow, so it only looks good at -some- angles.

3) one of the advice i can give is do not prepare the fountain and put them on display at different places (a mistake i made coz kitchen is far away from guest's dining table). also please do the white chocolate side first to avoid colour staining ;)

4) washing the fountain is a bit tedious as you have to disassemble every part n get to all small, round edges. helps if you have small fingers

I got nothing from the item
i bought it for xmas day we bought all the things to dip in for dessert but when we came to using it the motor that makes the chocolate run through it worked for about 5mins then stopped all it did was heat up. I sent it back they confirmed it was broke all that money and it worked for 5mins lol

best chocolate foutain
I bought this just before xmas I did have a single fountain but this one is great the chocolate stayed seperate and we have had a great time with it well worth the money and fun for all the family our grandchildren ate more fruit without realising it and they now see fruit in a different way. it is brilliant I highly recomend this fountain

Whats not to like???
I love this little machine, its much better than the Prima one that was given to me as a gift. I used it a big party for about 40 and it was a huge hit. The temperature control for the base is a lot better and the different speeds and heats allow for different consistencies of chocolate. I had no problem with leakage from one side to the other and you do use twice as much chocolate than a single fountain so its really more suited to bigger parties. Buy lots of strawberries and marshmallows and enjoy :-)
