Not Bad
Certainly some good strong tunes on this mix, but hesitate to recommend it since it, for me, is over-run by the overlaid vocals. Shame, and a bit of a waste.

ESSENTIAL PURCHASE
If you only purchase 1 album this year this should be it - it rocks!

hell yeah
Whilst not quite hitting the heady peak that was FabricLive 22 this is yet another ridiculously good mix from the perverts. In fact there are numerous parralells with the fabric mix which is no bad thing as anyone who has seen them perform there will know. The inclusion of QOTSA Unkle remix for example, whislt being a relatively tired tune compared to most of the others on here, is often part of their set. However I for one might have preffered the inclusion of their memorable mix of seven nation army. Like FL22 this mix progresses from laid back funky hip hop up the bpms, tho this time including some dutty dubstep along the way, which for me is the highlight. Loefah's roughage, for those of you with know idea what to expect, is used in a similar way to dead prez's hip hop on the Fabric Live. maximum bass basically. Mark Ronson's funky radiohead cover is probably the only let down, but thats coming from someone who hates seeing their classics butchered. The drum and bass climax is particularly jump up, with the perverts bringing their unique talents to the sound with spectacular results. Basically if you dont get out too often or have no DJ for your house party i would highly recommend it. Iis not the best you've ever heard from them but its still damn good to come back from room one of Fabric with your head buzzing and be able to crack on to this.

Another fine mix from the best DJ Trio
This album is another fine addition to the Perverts back catalogue. It opens with a quick blast of drum and bass then settles into a funky hip hop groove by the second track. Around track ten the tempo ups to a heavy techno beat and from then on the energy flows from garage to Jungle to pure Drum and Bass with a sprinkle of hip hop rhymes everywhere.

Not having been to this genres clubs for a few years there are only two tracks i can recognise; remixs of QOTSA - No One Knows and Roots Manuva - Collosal Insight but they've been severly ripped up to sound fresh. The rest are mostly new to me and without exception sound AMAZING. I can even hear a few modern Pop and R&B riffs on the freestyles the Perverts do, where the hell did Radiohead come from!!!

The mixing and turntable aerobics are spot on and i cant imagine any party not going off with this record.

Buy it now, before everyone else has it.
