Purchased 12 months ago to use with my HP Pavilion desktop. No problems whatsoever. Excellent product for speaking and seeing family in the USA and Spain.

Avoid
I own a Sony Vaio and a Hewlett Packard desktop. This webcam made both computers crash. I have downloaded drivers from the Creative website but nothing seems to work. Waste of money

Look elsewhere if you own a Dell
A word of warning to Dell owners. Toshiba owners should be wary too, especially those with laptops. This webcam simply may not work. I speak from experience:

I have a Dell Optiplex GX240 running Windows 2000 Professional which more than meets the minimum specification requirements for this product. I had intended to use this webcam for MSN Messenger and Skype, however not only can't I get a picture from it, but when connecting the webcam my PC will invariably automatically shutdown and reboot or display the blue screen of death. I also had Windows fail to recognise a previously installed display driver such that it resorted to VGA display mode even outside of safe mode. I had to locate, download, and re-install a legacy display driver to return the PC to its previous state. If you look around the web, particularly the Creative Labs forums, I am not the only Dell owner this has happened to. Toshiba laptop owners also appear to have difficulty.

Theories for the reboots involve the webcam causing a power drain from the USB port. A suggested workaround is to connect it to a powered USB hub, which I have done, but to no avail. The blue-screen error seems to point invariably to a non-functioning .dll registry file (i.e. a driver).

Customer support is frankly pretty hopeless, suggesting uninstalling and reinstalling the webcam, software, and relevant drivers. If that doesn't work then all assistance vanishes. It seems that Creative Labs haven't got a driver that works with my Dell or any other Dell.

I would write a review of the camera, it's picture and sound quality, it's ease of use etc. etc., but after 1 month of attempting to get it to work, I have decided to return it to the manufacturer for a refund. For such a high-priced webcam from such a reputable company, I'm afraid this one just doesn't cut it, at least not with a Dell.

Be warned.
