always up to date with the Live Update
One of the best features within Antivirus 2007 is the Live Update Service, which keeps the program up to date for the length of one's subscription. So the program is always aware of new spyware and viruses. Whenever there's a new threat the program updates itself very quickly to adjust to it and be able to protect the computer it's running on from the new virus.

This product hurt my computer
I bought this product and successfully installed it on my wife's laptop.

Having uninstalled Internet Security 2004 from my desktop PC, using the recommended Norton uninstaller tool in addition to the Windows Control Panel route, I attempted to load the replacement from CD ROM. Installation is currently "Hanging" with a message that "configuration is incomplete" and this despite several attempts to load.

This is inconvenient, but more importantly the installation attempt appears to have disabled many of my shortcut icons e.g. System Restore; Search;Windows Help & support; and connection to/ from my HP all in one scanner.

I have emailed Symantec and Microsoft for help but to date have heard nothing from either organisation
