Money well spentI purchased this for my baby daughter. She loves it, she is almost 5 months now and enjoys playing with it, as does my 2yr old son.
Really good value for money. Excellent quality. It is bigger than I expected it to be, the clip is really handy so that the peacock can be attached to the baby carrier safely and wont get lost.

Simple but a Baby MagnetThe idea of this toy is pretty simple.
Its a brightly coloured toy that is a bit crinkly to the touch.
There is a rattle and mirror, but they're not significant enough for a young baby to notice.
However, my 4 week old baby is captivated by the toy and flapping its wings is always a sure way to calm the little one (if she isn't overcome by the desperate need for a bottle feed!).
Excellent toy.
And Lamaze seem to be one of the few toy manufacturers to make toys that very oung babies are interested in.

A brilliant gift for a little person...I have just bought Jacques for my baby nephew on the strength of the other reviews alone, and I'm delighted with my purchase. Everyone who's seen him has commented on what a top quality, bright, stimulating toy this is, and I'm sure he will be a hit!

My son loves this toyBought this from amazon for my 4 month old baby and he loved it from the very first day- he stares at it intently for a long time (think its cause its got big bold eyes to look into). Its really easy to take around with you and I tend to clip mine to the top of my baby gym so that its looking down on my little boy- he'll stare at it for ages. He also loves to feel all the different textures too. Highly rate this toy.

Jacques Le Peacock - he's a peacock and his name is JacquesThis is one of the first toys I bought for my baby boy, and it has been one of the best value. He was 2 months old when I first attached it to his pram, and he used to stare at the black and white back for ages, mesmerized. Now he is 8 months old and still facinated. He loves trying to put him in his mouth, loves looking at his reflection in the mirror, loves his crinkly wings, and loves all the different colours and textures.
Lamaze toys are just fab - well made, colourful, good value and my son loves all of his. Plus they are dead handy for clipping to a change bag or a pram before you head out the door and take up no room.
