Rubbish!Awful game - yes the presenter is annoying, but the real reason for the poor review is that the questions are continually repeated. During the very first play of the game on Christmas day a question was repeated after about 5 minutes.
During the second game, team 1 was asked a question, and then team 2 were asked the very same question straight afterwards!
In future I'll stick to quiz games that can be played on the playstation.

Another DVD music quiz...An unexpected Christmas present, bought for me by my dearly beloved as "you can play this one on your own..."
Enough said!
There is a multiplayer and an individual mode - as yet I have not tempted anyone into the former, but have had a few runs through the latter.
The game is 'hosted' by the standard irritating man - a little quip is made after every answer, which rapidly become repetitive - to whoever puts these games together, please allow your customer the change to turn this off next time! He also plays a kazoo (badly) on a guess the tune question.
The format is simple - a wrong answer ends the game and you must answer 10 questions correctly to 'win'. Once done, you are given 5 numerically based questions, the sum of the answers to which can then be used to enter a text competition and prove you are a genius!
A fair addition to any music fan's dvd collection and a sure fire winner for a boozy 'group' night in.

Jansy FamilyThe age group playing this game ranged from 14 - 69. We thought the questions covered a great range and there was nearly always someone who could answer the questions. We played the team game but answered the questions between all of us for a 'warm up'. We played for over 2 hours! We laughed a lot and the time just flew by. The only downside was the presenter. We didn't consider "blowing a raspberry" a word and found it quite unnecessary. We were all agreed that we would have liked to skip his comments. Did he really know some of the tunes he was playing on the kazoo or did he just think it was funny? Otherwise, great game and would recommend it.

So much better than last years' NOW release!I bought the "Now That's What I Call A Music Quiz" DVD last year as a present for Christmas. big mistake! the majority of the questions were from the 90s and 00s and the loading times in-between game stages drove everybody in our family mad!
This one is different and includes all the things that you want from an interactive DVD game: variety, questions from all decades, real videos, real audio, imaginative game rounds and a (quite) funny presenter. I can only recommend it!!

Top Banana!Got this yesterday since it looked like a laugh (played this sorta fing before) - and it is!
Great fun, had a single player game myself before a few of mates turned up and we did a team match (2 vs 2) which was ace! Theres plenty of videos and music clips, and Steve Furst does a pretty good job of keeping things interesting without looking like TOO much of a plonker (most of the time). The kazoo rounds are funny but I think the guy didn't know what song he was supposed to be doing on a couple of em, no way I could guess em!!
There's a 'charades' type round too which was a bit naff at first, but by the time we'd had a few drinks and went back to the game it was suddenly fun and frustrating - if you're not self conscious acting stuff out in front of people you'll enjoy it.
There seems to be lots of questions, only saw one or two repeated but I guess that's just the luck of the draw really.
Oh yeah, word of warning - the single player game is HARD! You have to answer 10 in a row, and theres no lifelines here mate!! Get one wrong, you're out, start again - flipping heck!!!! But apparently there's some 'ultimate question' thing at the end involving lots of digits that you can win prizes with (don't ask me what, I didn't get to see it yet) by texting, which is a nice addition I think! Gonna try for that big TV, hehehhh...
It covers lots of genre's and goes from 50s & 60s right up to date, so anyone has a fair shake at playing - buy it for someone for christmas, then spend all day playing it with them ;)
