Angel VoicesI never buy albums but Libera have made me want to buy all of theirs! Their voices are angelic! after i heard them for the first time, i never found a choral group who could sing as well as Libera! This is truly one of Libera's best albums! I recommend these songs:
-Sanctus
-Ave Maria
-Salva Me
-Voca Me
...especially 'Voca Me' and 'Salva Me'. There aren't any downsides to their music...unless you hate classical music...

Please get rid of this method of repeating tracks from other albumsThis was my first introduction to Libera and I thought it seemed pretty good value for money, I was all set to award it a higher rating until I was aware that so many of the tracks had featured on previous albums. I feel it rather derogatroy of the managers to have this type of situation, whilst it simp0ly earns them money it at the credibailit of the singers themselves.
I witnessed Liberia singing on television and whilst only managing to catch the latter part of their performance I knew instantly that they had a talent and wished that I had caught the full performance. Seeing the album in the shops I had to have it my first impressions were some disappointment that the disc has a number of titles that seem destined to appear on each new album of this kind. Listening to the tracks however, I have nothing but admiration for way in which they have made the tracks their own. One hears Ava Maria so often that it seems to be overdone but the rendition on this disc is simply stunning.
I could go on and list each track with my comments, but that would simply detract from the challenge they have come to and overcome. My opinions are that this album has been well thought out and the way in which it has been presented is simply wonderful in short
I would have recommended this as a wonderful album and a must for those who are looking for a relaxing and timeless selection of songs, were it not for the apparent nature of the duplication

Repetition, but still worth your money!I have to first say that I am writing this review as an existing fan of Libera.
The first thing that struck me about this CD was how wonderful the opening track, Far Away, is. This track is worth the purchase of the CD alone. I was disappointed that so many of the other songs on the CD were featured on other Libera albums. However, there were changes to a few of the tracks, most notably Sanctus that had a nice variation at the end.
This album is strongly recommended for those new to Libera and to the die hard fans. If you already own a good selection of Libera just don't expect a completely new album. You can, however, expect the same exceptionally high quality of music produced in the Libera way.
Come on Libera, there are plenty of other amazing songs out there just waiting for your unique touch! Lets get the rating back up to five stars next time.

Very disappointing and a swindleI should have read the previous reviews before I purchased this album, but I am such a fan that I was sure it didn't matter what others said - however, despite what others have written, there are in fact 11 tracks already on previous albums and only 4 (of which one is played twice) new tracks - very disappointing and an absolute swindle!

I have quite fallen in love with the enchanting sound of this CD - and this is my fave Libera CDI was looking for 'All Angels' for my wife at Xmas as she requested, and came across this title. It seemed to go well the older girl band title (even sharing Silent Night and Ava Maria). I have to say that I am quite captivated with Angel Voices, and the ethereal music really fitted the mood over the Xmas. It even makes listening to the CD while doing the washing up seem like a spiritual moment. I suppose the fact that the boys voices are a short lived transient thing and it is all so evocative of childhood that I also find the music very nostalgic (I always loved `Walking in the air'). Plus it's great to see the boy's faces on this CD, rather than a dove or suchlike, as that will make them rightfully proud when showing off this CD as `grown-ups'.
I don't mind the repetition of tracks throughout the Libera collection - you get all the same titles from Aled Jones to Angelis, and the Amazon listing is pretty clear on what you get. Choirboys [and choirgirls] sing this stuff so well. As the older boys move on and get replaced by new youngsters, it's not surprising they also want to record the old favourites and earn some royalties (hence the repetition I suppose). Plus you get a lot of tracks on this album, and I loved `Silent Night', `Abide with me' and `I vow to thee my country' as a child - in fact I like the selection offered here more than the other Libera CDs, so this one gets played most. I also have 'Angel Voices' Libera in concert, where, guess what, I was actually dissapointed that all the tracks on this CD weren't repeated again - it's a great DVD though. The only downside, I find that after the sentimental Xmas season closes, my Libera CDs and DVD tend to get shunned for my regular pop/rock/folk favourites.
You can see all the boys on their official website: libera.org.uk. Having a ten year old son myself the incongruity of angelic faces and outfits and young boys cheeky behaviour in real life also adds to the charm (they are so full of life). In fact my son loved listening to this CD while mum and older sister were at Xmas midnight mass - he even put his Nintendo DS on top the CD case when he went to bed `as the music was so beautiful' (praise indeed from a Queen/Meatloaf/School Disco fan). He says he still can't believe it's just boys singing. And as they say in Disney's `Recess'; "It's like food for the soul".
