Seasonal Celebration with Passion
Singing with force and verve and commitment. These guys ask a lot of tricky questions about society. Left of centre and critical of the way this land has gone. Threee girls join them for this album.
The material is seasonal but imaginatively chosen.
Be great to see these live around the middle of winter.
Highly recommended artists whether singing carols, protest songs, working songs or songs and words about the Great War.

Voices at the Door - Midwinter Songs and Carols
This a-capella rendering of carols and songs from several centuries ago makes for a great 'listen and join' in disc for Christmas. The group's singing reminds me of 'Steel-eye Span' and I love it! It is fascinating to read the notes provided and to learn how the music began and how it has evolved through the generations.
