Good value
The only issue I have with this product is how the volume is automatically set to maximum when switched on. Reading other reviews, I still haven't been able to determine whether or not this is confined to certain or all models, but it's not a massive problem.

The dock fits my iPod touch perfectly and the remote that comes included also works with it. For the asking price it's a sleek and stylish unit. There's an adjustment to cater for all iPod models and a lead to allow use with other MP3 players. I tested this with my old Sony MP3 player and my Pure Pocket DAB radio and both offered similar quality to the iPod, with the latter matching my proper desktop DAB radio.

Excellent Value
This is a superb unit. I was planning to buy a more expensive unit to use in my lounge but decided to take a chance on this unit. My backup plan was to move it to the kitchen if the quality was poor. I was not disappointed, the sound, looks and build quality of this unit are excellent. Now for a second unit for the kitchen.

Sound problem
I was firstly very impressed with this system. But unfortunately there were problems with the volume control which meant I had to send it back. Mainly very loud start up volume, volume controls not responding when trying to turn down (only option was to turn off at mains) and finally system slowly ramping up volume by itself! Shame because it sounded great. I have edited my last review but cannot change number of stars - I would now give it 1 star.

Great system... When it works.
Firstly, I am now on my second ivoice system, i had my first replaced because on the second use the sound strangely became distorted. I checked the manual, and it only tried to put the blame on my ipod, which was working fine. The first time i used my first set of speakers, i was amazed by the sound, it is a brilliant system and does live up to the reviews.

My second system has worked fine upto now (touch wood) and blasts out brilliant, sharp sound. The look is very slick, and the system isn't too big or bulky.

One thing to look out for, i once used it outside with my 80GB ipod classic, and with no shoes or socks on... i went to plug the ipod onto the connection and a small shock went through the metal casing on the back and into my hand, it was only a tickle, but just a warning, wear shoes!

Had i not suffered with the faulty first device it would no doubt be a 5* review, I'd recommend it as a value for money ipod speaker.

Big sound from a little body!
I took delivery of this today having read various reviews, decided on a cheap system for bedroom as bought dock for seperates system. Felt reviews were so good I decided to opt for it having overlooked the brand on the listings.

First off the quality of mine seems iffy, lots of specks on the grill and a little bit of missing paint so decided early on it was going back...

Switched it on waited a moment and boom! This thing has got a punch!I still do not know how this can produce such a warm, big sound as it's so small, even the box was tiny - like a little toaster (same weight too!)

I will be sending this one back so hopefully the replacement will be okay!? Apart from imperfections this is by far the best sounding £40 ever!
