This would probably have been alot better
We bought this toy for our daughter, and upon wraping it about a month and half later, we realised it only spoke french! This is because it wqas packaged wrongly and came in english packaging, with english instructions, but a french speaking toy! My daughter was bitterly disappointed, and because we didn't check it (the demo batteries were flat) we were out of our 30 day return policy.

Be very careful to check the toy if you buy it!

Also the motor was VERY loud, and at times overpowered the voice of the rat. Wouldn;t recommend this really...........

Speaks Only French
Whilst its good for kids to speak and learn forgein languages , it would be nice if it said what its supposed on the box... Ive been looking for a switch or something but there isnt one. So maybe amazon have negated to state that some of the toys dont speak english ?? Who knows ...be careful and test it before removing it from the packaging as you may wish to return it if yours only speaks LA Francais. It does look however more like the character than any of the official disney toys

So Cute !
I initially bought this item for myself purely out of interest as it was reduced so much. It was so cute all my family and friends wanted one too !
It has a large range of phrases and the animation, although a little noisy, is good too. Would not have paid RRP but at this price its a bargain.

Excellent rat
I must say, I brought this little rat for my child and when it arrived I was expecting it to be French speaking but it wasn't. I think it is a misleading that some of the reviews say it is French when clearly it isn't.

Anyway, either this little rat comes in 2 flavours i.e. French and English or someone is 'fibbing'.

Anyway, it is excellent the movement and the sensor near it's nose is a great idea.

At this price it is a bargain, considering in the Disney Store it is £24.99

The best blue rat I've owned
Both bigger and better than I expected. It's by no means cuddly but moves well, has a nice sound to it and is quite funny to play with. I got one for my 24 year old sister at Christmas and the whole family find it entertaining. A great present to give a fan of the film!
