I love it!!
Ive been using the Pump it up [ultimate dance workout] dvd for the past couple of year and ive been gettin soo bored of it doing the same stuff so it was time for a change... I absolutly love the girls next door tv show and when i heard about this i didnt think it would be that good [probably because they are already skinny n gorgeous!] but i finally decided to buy it from amazon the other week.

The dvd has 3 different sections [one for each girl]:

HOLLYS EXPRESS WORKOUT - has a warm up section [intro], lower body section which is really good, upper body section which is also good and she gives you a few helpful tips.. then last its the abs section which has a lil stretch section at the end to cool down. For Hollys workout you need some dumbbells and a balance ball, but she says you can use a couple of cans of soup for the dumbbels or just lay on the floor if you dont have a balance ball so anyone can still do it.


BRIDGETS BOOTCAMP - This is my fave section of the dvd... its quite long and you can really feel it working more than the other 2.
First its the intro [warm up] then the Lower Body section which is really good, Abs section which is great too! then a stretching section. You dont need any equipment like for Hollys.

KENDRAS CONDITIONING WORKOUT - The first part of this [intro] where she does her 'dance moves' is abit weird but if you know how to do it then theres no harm in going along but if not then you can skip it as its only about a minute long.
Then she has a Warm Up section which you will need skipping ropes [but she says you can do it without so theres no excuse for leaving it out] it really gets your heart rate going ready for the martial arts section.
Next its Punches [martial arts] which looks easy when you see it but it really does work if you do it properly.. then lastly its the Kicks section which is great for the lower body.

I really enjoyed this workout, i wasnt expecting it to be so good. It feels like you are friends with all 3 girls because they just talk throughout the workout and tell you about the mansion and what they like to work out etc.

Theres also an interview section where all 3 girls talk about the DVD which is quite interesting

i give this dvd a 10/10 ..
Its also really helpful when holly keeps telling you to tense your butt because sometimes you forget so this is really handy!

I recommend this DVD to anybody! any age, any fitness level its just really amazing.

Fantastic workout, great fun
If you like to watch The Girls Next Door, you will love this workout. It is not just another celebrity fad dizty boring workout. On the contrary it is actually pretty challenging.

You start with a 15 minute full body toning routine with Holly. You will need a stabilty ball and hand weights. This is very beginner friendly and a beginner could start here. This is not to say that advanced excercisers should skip this programme. This is actually a great toning programme which will warm you up nicely for the next 15 minutes with Bridget. I was really surprised how hard Bridget's section was. It is actually a pretty hard core kickboxing interval programme. Pheeeew, I was sweating by the end of this section. The final 10 minutes were instructed by Kendra and although this is horribly edited, starting with some silly dance moves, which you are supposed to only watch I guess?!?, it goes on to a 10 minutes cardio martial arts session with jump rope jumps + different punches and kicks. And phew will you sweat, especially if you put it together with Holly's and Bridget's routine.

In conclusion if you put all these three routines together you will get a really great full body workout that will kick your butt. Or you could do one routine a day if you are pressed for time, or if you are a beginner and really unfit.

The best bit with this video is the homely feel of it. You actually feel like you are working out with one of your girlfriends. Holly, Bridget and Kendra come with incredibly encouraging comments and you actually want to do this all the way through, and to pick it up the next day, all though you should be rather sore after all your hard work.

I'm pretty sure that if you stick with this programme it will get you into great shape.
