Beware if you are wanting to use all three at once
Essentially these are good bands, for individual light use - however if like me you are quite a strong guy, and use all three at once, for bicep curls, then I have gone through two sets in a year, both snapping on me.

The DVD which comes in the pack, suggests to use all three at once, to increase resistance, but in reality it doesn't work like that!

So if you are looking for a light, toning aerobic exercise, then these bands are perfect.

But if you are looking for resistance tubes, as an alternative to weights, while travelling, then look elsewhere.

Buy Reebok bands individully!
If you buy the Reebok bands individually the handle is fully secured on, so it would not come off, they are more expensive £9.99 for one, in 3 levels, however if you go for this pack you will be disapointed. You can attach all three bands at one go and whilst using it the clip snapped of, and one fell off, they also get tangled up if you put all resistence bands together. The bands are ok for a person which travels but if you want to go for superior bands go for Ironwoody bands, much more better or any other company.

Conclusively it is safe to say they are not worth buying!

Hmmmm......perhaps only for light toning exercises at high reps...
I thought this would be a good substitute for weights, that I could use while travelling...it's not.

It's very difficult to adjust even the heaviest resistance tube of the 3 (I tried doubling it back on itself several times) to a resistance strong enough to stimulate muscle growth...but this would only work if exercising only the weakest muscles in the body in isolation. Compound exercises or large muscles - forget it.

Also, due to the way the resistance has to be applied from one part of the body against another (as opposed to by gravity with weights), the ability to work the full length of the muscles with many exercises is a little restricted...it's very difficult to explain exactly what I mean by that, but imagine trying to work the same back muscles that a lat-pulldown would (forget the biceps in that for now) - imagine how you'd simulate that with this...in your head you can imagine holding the tube above your head in both hands, and pulling your hands apart until the tube is behind your back with your arms extended to your side...right? Seems ok in your head (& even that is hugely reduced effectiveness on full length of lats & ignoring biceps compared to a real lat pulldown) but in practice, the tube gets about 1/3rd the way and is then is at a kinda full extension of length and you're just moving your arms up & down with no further resistance.

Still not sure I succeeded in explaining that example well...

Anyway, this is probably great for muscle toning only, for women looking for overall body conditioning & toning, or a resistance based cardio workout perhaps. But if, like me, you're a bloke who understands resistance training to mean for strength and muscle mass building - this is far from ideal.
