Fantastic
My last phone when the LG Viewty which I found completely useless!! This phone is brilliant, easy to connect with the computer for pictures etc. I highly recommend!

Best phone I've ever used
This phone is extremely good. It has flaws but I would certainly get another, or try Nokia's newer phones in this range before any others. br / br /My main praise is for the overall design. There are very few "rough edges" in the general operating system and the integration of applications, especially compared to all other phones I have used. It feels robust to me though I wouldn't want to drop it too often. br / br /Pros br /Excellent call quality br /Extremely usable and well organised (eg Contacts/Calendar) br /Great camera, excellent camcorder (for a phone) br /GPS (I use Garmin to avoid subscription and data costs) br /Good internet browser br /Build quality br /Well-integrated music player with slide-out control pad br /Sync with MS Outlook has always worked very well (automatic through Bluetooth) meaning no lost appointments/contacts br /Accelerometer for automatic orientation of photographs. Also used in games, spirit level, light saber etc! br /Flash realplayer br /Good-quality reproduction of pictures videos on TV hifi using supplied output cable br /Adobe pdf viewer br /Reasonable sound quality from inbuilt speakers br /Audio recording also reasonable; used like "Dictaphone" at work br / br /Cons br /Takes user time to realise how good it is (not as intuitive as iPhone and its quality is not as obvious to casual users) br /GPS takes 1-2mins to lock on br /No touchscreen br /Keypad is slightly too small br /N-Gage. Why? br /Battery life around 36 hours with fairly intensive use (camera/music/wifi/calls/Bluetooth) br /Fixed 8gb memory though this has never been a problem due to removing transferred videos photos to computer flickr for backup br /Fading print on cursor key back of phone br / br /I recommend a mobile data package since it is so useful to have Google Maps, facebook, Youtube, phone directory, GPS traffic data etc available anywhere. Also I recommend purchasing an adhesive screen cover, mine cost £1. br / br /I was concerned about the lack of lens cover but the camera produces consistently excellent images with a clean maybe once a week. br / br /All in all I am extremely impressed.

THE BEST MOBILE PHONE ON THE MARKET.
The N95 is staggering with a list of features that almost boggle the mind , from it's 8GB internal memory. To the 5MP camera with a flash that has many on-board editing features that I don't even have on my dedicated Kodak camera. There is also a second camera mounted on the front of the phone to a lower resolution. Then there is the high resolution LCD screen that's pin-sharp and far better than 90% of mobiles. It has a radio with 20 pre-sets that also offer great reception on all channels. It's also quad band that uses other networks antenna's to insure a strong signal. The only real niggles are the small keys below the screen which are difficult to use. And the lack of and expandable memory if you use the full 8GB's with various Apps. However all in all this is a fine phone that's worth the high costs and you won't regret buying.

Not just user-friendly, but PC-friendly -- Nokia finds the perfectionist in you
As a big Nokia fan, I can honestly say this is pure advancement -- particularly with regards to battery life above the regular N95 (which I have also owned). The attention to detail and user-friendly-ness does it for me. Contact labels (e.g. fax, mobile, home...) are fully customizable so you can add your own label if a contact has several numbers (e.g. 2 business nos.). Everything is fully changeable and customizable on this phone (e.g. you can disable the prompt to upload your photo to Orange after looking at a preview of your photo -- I found this annoying and was easily able to disable it). The camera and settings are so advanced, and the quality amazingly crisp (even better when viewed on PC) -- so much so, that I don't have a separate digital camera anymore. The 8GB version also has the additional self-timer of 20secs. PC/Mobile synchronization is smoothly accurate and there are no software glitches, or additional alterations needed where words/numbers have been missed or mis-categorized. Standby screen options include being able to view upcoming calendar entries/to-dos, which I find handy. Although it is the same size as the original N95, the screen is slightly larger. No need for a micro-SD card; 8GB is ample. I rate having a normal button keypad highly above a touch screen -- I made a brief disloyal switch to LG, and something I found irritable about the touch screen on the Viewty was having no alpha display on the keypad during a call, which made automated password prompts difficult to enter -- by the time you have figured out which letter is on which number key, you have to start over again, as your password has been recognized as "invalid". You must keep the software version up to date so the battery life does not fall short of its full potential. Ergonomically fashioned and considerably light, with easy dual slide action -- for keypad/media controls -- this stylish technology-packed little gem sits neatly in the palm of your hand. This truly is a handset for the gadget-guru, photographer, and PERFECTIONIST ;oD
