big big bass
well if u like heavy bass, and dubstep, this is the cd for you. starts off pretty light, but tunes like chest boxing, volvic, electric, get the old wobble bass going. awesome cd.

Dark & Intelligent
N-Type was obviously the best man to make the next Allstars CD. Great tunes, built up with next to flawless mixing, helping you literally feel the bass in your chest. Great use of vocals as well, seeing as vocals are not predominant in Dubstep, but here it's moderated nicely. Like another review said, this Dubstep Allstars differs from the other in terms of variety and it's just straight up heavier.

Soundboy (33) is reminiscent of Baroque music, with the light sounding stringed instrument carrying it through to the filthy 'Coca Cola'.

The thing I can't get over is the bass, which is manipulated incredibly, aswell as some tasty beats. Best CD I've bought in a long while.

OK
I bought this out of curiosity as i had never heard of Dub step, it is like a very slow drum and bass, a little too slow, a few more BPM would have made it a little more funky, there are plenty of bass lines and odd noises in this mix, but far too few vocals, when there was vocals, a new dimension was gained, this style of music could evolve to be very interesting, especially if Hip Hop dj's threw in samples and cuts.
An interesting listen, but not exciting enough.

Dark, Bassy, Original
Opening with a sample from the movie 'Thirteen Ghosts', N-Type keeps the whole mix dark, deep and bassy with original styles, but all in the N-Type, mostly dubs. Very Nice mixing and turntable trickery: nice vocals and mixing basslines. Pure Dubstep and bassy. A little more variety than the previous Allstar CDs with more variety of artists - loving Coki's sounds!
