A must have
A great set of films, from the early years to her more mature years... Mildred Pierce is definately one of her best but the others are just as great, Highly recommended for any Crawford fan!!!

Top Drawer DVD
This is SO worth the money that I think I'm liable to buy a few more for friends. The films in this collection create an excellent introduction to the body of work of this artist who, sadly, was often considered a 'movie star' rather than an actor. All the films are great - I found Grand Hotel perhaps the most disappointing of the collection though; I love the film it's just that I felt it wasn't representative of her work... it would have been great if they had replaced it with The Women instead. The inclusion of the films Mildred Pierce and Humoresque alone make the box set worth snapping up. Joan's final scene in Humoresque confirms for me that she was indeed a great actress. Buy this DVD, turn off your phone and dive in!

Excellent collection
I disagree with the previous review - perhaps because I haven't got he previous box set. Overall this is an excellent collection of Joan Crawford's movies and in particular it contains the wonderful Mildred Pierce and Grand Hotel. Well worth it.

Shame on Warner Bros!
The films in the set are great don't get me wrong! The reason I gave this one star is because this set comtains the same films as the Joan box set that was released here a couple of years ago. Here is the best part! Warner Bros are releasing another box set in the US ONLY with all new films in. Please email Warner Bros and show them that we also want the new set here, ukcustomer.enquiries@warnerbros.com br / br /Why should we have to pay extra and get it shipped from the US!!!
