A Treat For The Nostalgic
For the quality of the restoration, the extras and value for money this has got to be one the best box sets ever produced. Excellent.

BEST BUY
I can't recommend this box set highly enough. It's VERY good value, but take a tip from me and buy it from AMAZON USA (it's new, and it will work out cheaper, even with post and packing) Its very well produced, with four disks holding the movies, and plenty of extras, plus a hard backed book of 40 + pages and a folder of quality black and white photographs from the four films featured. br / br /One of the best things is the bonus disk, especially the 'Judy Garland Song book' which is worth the money in itself. Over twenty full-length song clips from Judy's movies scanning the years from 1936 - 1954. Brilliant! Wish i could give it ten stars!

Who Could Ask For Anything More. . . ?
After waiting so long for a complete set of the Garland/Rooney musicals, I can safely say I wasn't dissapointed. br / br /The box set is immense, with an extensive booklet, bonus disc featuring a Judy Garland songbook and an interview Mickey Rooney did for TCM, a set of beautiful glossy photographs of the dynamic duo, and 4 discs jam packed with extras such as commentaries by the acclaimed Garland historian John Fricke, stereo remixes, audio bonuses, vintage short films and trailers. br / br /The four films here are presented in stunning black and white, and include Babes in Arms (1939), Strike Up The Band (1940), Babes on Broadway (1941) and Girl Crazy (1943). br / br /Garland and Rooney fans never had it so good! br /

Family Entertainment At Its Best
Once again warners have performed their usual magic with is collection. br / br /Each film is introduced by Mickey Rooney, lovingly restored, and every disc is jammed packed full of extras. With the option of a commentary by John Fricke br / br /The bonus disc is worth the cost of this box set on its own. This bonus disc includes the interview Mickey Rooney did for TCM, and the Judy Garland song book, a collection of Judys best loved songs from her films. br / br /The five-disc set includes the bonus disc. Still photographs and the book Private Screenings with Mickey Rooney, Babes in Arms" (1939). Strike Up the Band" (1940). Babes on Broadway" (1941). Girl Crazy" (1943).
