Hilairious!
This film is really funny, mainly because of the 2 stars Amanda Bynes and Chris Carmack, I remember reading the plot years ago, thinking it sounded cool and then having to wait a few years to actually see it, but the wait was worth it as it is really funny. The setting for the film is beautiful and watching Chris Carmack being a rock god is worth the price alone! Amanda Bynes excels in comedy roles and I am looking forward to seeing more of her in the future!

a light-hearted teen movie
This film was fine to watch - a fairly good cast which resulted in a well-acted movie. some comedy, some romance so could be deemed as a bit of a chick flick.

This is not going to make movie of the year, but is perfectly watchable and fun - could watch again with no trouble, but wouldnt actually rush out to buy it.

buy / rent this movie if you just wanna chill out with some popcorn and a drink without having to analysis every scene.

Predictable slightly stale comedy
I'm normally a fan of the teen comedies such as this and I found the story to be rather stale, predictable, and lacking very laughs.

Amanda Bynes stars as an over-obsessed fan working at a Caribbean resort for the summer. When her favourite pop star Jason Masters arrives on the island she makes it her goal to meet him. During an evening cruise during stormy weather, her idol falls into the Ocean, and she jumps into save him.

After the storm clears, they end up on an island that is seemingly deserted, and with Jason injured, Jenny doesn't have much option but to try and fend for the both of them. However it doesn't take her long to discover that they're actually on the other side of the resort island. So convinced is Jenny that her dream will come true and Jason will fall in love with her, that she decides to withold the truth from him and spend time with him roughing it on the other side of the island.

It had potential for originality, but throw in the rival girl also after the guys affections and the cookie-cutter stereotypical male best friend who's in love with Jenny, and you've got the whole thing panned out for predictability before the movie even starts.

I was disappointed with this as the trailers had pointed it as being funny and fresh. It's neither.

A Carriabean Adventure!!!
This movie loved Wrecked was really brill! It is set near the Carriabean Islands, in a Beautiful 5 star hotel. She (Jenny Taylor) goes with her best friend Ryan, and they are life savers and waiters there on their summer worker scoloship, to get some money for Uni!However one day she is washed overboard with her favourite popstar the man that she wants to pick her off her feet.They are then trapped on a derserted Island. More trouble yet, he has sprained his ankle. He thinks their marooned (but he dosen't know that until Jenny goes off and relized they are on the same Island as before), and she plans to keep it that way! UH UH UH Sneeky I'll say. A weird and unexpected end which is scary, but fun!
A happy funny comedy that will get you laughing non stop. What a girl wants was my first Amanda Bynes movie and this was my second, and I think she is such a fantastic film acter that I'm going to buy some more.

awesome movie-buy!!!
i love this movie, it gets you into the summer mood, and it is really funny. if like amanda Bynes's movies, this wont disappoint. You won't get bored of the film and its a real heart warmer. i definitely recommend it!
