I would advise against it
I bought one of these and it arrived broken and the packaging was damaged. When I took a closer look at the tripod myself I found that it was pretty shoddily and cheaply made and would not trust my camera with it.

GRIPPERPOD = FANTASTIC!!
This product is so handy for when you are out,ive still not managed to find all its possibilities, forget the rigid tripods, get one of these.
Thay also do larger Gripperpods for larger cameras, slr's & the like.
GREAT!
