Reader casued I/O device error
The reader caused an I/O device error and crashed my XP pro with SP3 from which it did not recover. Re-booting and trying again caused the same fault. Changing the options/preferences for the device managers had no effect.

First test
Item arrived today so to test it I took a few trial pics.
No problems using a 256mb memory card. Transfer of 10 pics was almost immediate. Obviously not had time yet to thoroughly test it, but first impression is favourable.
