We lived on the road surrounded by cats and dogs lovers. Due to our front garden being open concept, we have regulars visits from the neigbours cats and dogs. I love gardening and it really angers me every time I see cats/dogs litter on my flower beds. I tried so many deterrents but none really worked. So decided to go for the ultrasonic. Bought 2 for the front garden and 1 for the rear garden. 1st few weeks it has kept the cats and dogs away. Then one day I saw my neighbour's cat in our front garden straying around few feet from the repeller even better he even took a nap on the steps. Later I went out to test the repeller and it was working fine. This proved that either the cat is deaf or the repeller is useless!!

I bought 1 of these repellers like some of these reviews here, after a few days, was regretting my purchase. Had it not been for the fact my local garden centre had these on special offer I would have given up tried something else. br / br /But..I bought 2 more making 3 in total also the DC transformers as each repeller takes 2x9V batteries making them expensive to run after a while. After watching where the cats entered,walked sat in my garden, I positioned my 3 repellers to get maximum coverage. My garden is about 20ft long x 10ft wide with a few small bushes a pond. br / br /Well all I can say is...90% ultrasonic victory to me!! :) It is rare to see a cat in my garden now never (touchwood) any poo. There is however 1 cat who must be deaf or stupid that comes in my garden sits near my pond...but leaves it's "mark" in someone's garden. br / br /So, to sum up..1 repeller is pretty useless 3 seems to be pretty good

opposite result!
Bit useless this one. I've had a few cats digging out plants etc so tried this. Put it on and next day was surprised to see the amount of cats had increased! 6 cats in the garden 1 of them up at the unit checking it out!! br /If you like cats try it! You may get some new little friends!

rubbish not worth a penny
This did not work!!! I found curry plants the best method, we had a period of no cat waste in our garden, then my helpful partner dug up all our curry plants and what do you know cat waste all over again! br / br /I would love to know how dog waste in the street is frowned upon but for a cat to do that all over your garden is accepted what kind of warped mentality is that !

Cat repeller? Not in my garden!
I have tested this fully for over 2 weeks and I have to say when I find a cat sitting next to it asleep it kinda takes the mickey a bit! br /It appears operational, batteries new and fresh, correct placement etc but this one cat must be deaf! Walks right up to it without a care, so perhaps the manufacturers should add to their description 8 out of 10 cats prefer it! br /I would advise some other humane means of deterring the little critters from pooing on your lawn!
