Awesome Piece of kit
this was so easy to install plug into mains and connect to pc with the provided ethernet cables (2). dosnt work well with surge protected multiplug

but at the moment im actually getting 100Mbps rather than 85 which is nearly twice what i was getting with wireless.

you dont realy need to install the disk when u get it as all it is is a program designed to help detect the homeplug

would have given it 6 out of 5 if possilbe

The End to my Network Miseries
Having struggled for a number of years with Home Wireless Networks, like many reviewers before me, I have finally taken the plunge and found the solution to those anoying dead spots around the house. Within 10 minutes of arriving home with these, all my problems have gone. I can now use my internet radio and laptop anywhere. Print server glitches have disappeared and I now find myself wondering what to do with all the free time I will Have.

If you have Wireless troubles, buy these.

Max Value 85 Mbps Home Plug, Double unit pack
Was having problems with my wireless network getting through the thick brick walls in my new house. Bought a pair of these little beauties. Plugged one into the living room wall, connected to my wireless router. Plugged the other into the wall socket in the bedroom. Then connected the bedroom unit to a spare wireless router. I now have wireless all around the house.

Max Value Home Plug
This product is an amazing peice of kit, I find it so hard to believe this isn't so well known. It worked without any set up other than plugging it in,it put me on xbox live instantly up in the attic.

Way way better than wireless for its stability.

I am very impressed by this product! A god send for me with all the problems I have had with wireless in my home office.

ideal for xbox live
My son wanted to connect to xbox live in his bedroom, but when I looked at the xbox wireless network solution, I found that it did not work with WPA2 security. So rather than downgrade my security settings, I went for this option. So simple - one unit connects to the router, the other to the xbox, and it was working in under a minute. No flaky wireless signals, and £20 cheaper than the xbox wireless adapter.
